Book A Table

We closed at the end of October 2023 for our winter break. We plan to open again towards the end of March 2024. Bookings for 2024 are not open yet. Please join our email list if you wish to be notified of any updates. 

We strongly recommend booking ahead. You can book a table for 1 to 6 people online here. For larger parties call 01851672334.

We are not always able to answer the phone and you may need to leave a message on our answering service.  However this is monitored regularly and we will call you back as soon as we can.

PLEASE NOTE: A SUCCESSFUL ONLINE BOOKING WILL RESULT IN YOU RECEIVING A TEXT AND EMAIL CONFIRMATION WITH A BOOKING REFERENCE.  IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A TEXT AND EMAIL THE BOOKING HAS NOT BEEN MADE.

Uig Sands is a seafood restaurant, specialising in the incredible fish and shellfish that we have available to us right here on our doorstep.  While we will endeavour to cater for dietary requirements or allergies it is not always possible, and we cannot cater for these on the day so we ask that you please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.  See our FAQs for more info.

There will be a vegetarian / vegan option, however there will generally only be one choice per course and although we will try our best, we cannot always cater to preferences / dislikes.

We serve a fixed price multi course menu at £75 per head (with options for starter, main and dessert).  We do not offer a la carte or reduction in price for fewer courses.  The children’s set menu (aged 13 and under) is £35 per head and must be requested at the time of booking.

**No-show / reduction in numbers / late cancellation fee.**

Due to our remote location and limited number of tables, we struggle to re-book tables if they are cancelled with short notice. For this reason we take card details to confirm bookings as we charge £40 per person for a no-show or if the booking is cancelled or a reduction in number within 48 hours prior to your booked time.

We will always try to re-let your table and if successful we will waive the cancellation fee.
