Uig Sands Rooms were completed in 2022 and consist of 4 luxury rooms which are situated in a dramatic position overlooking Uig Sands beach. The rooms all have breath taking views across the bay and are just a short walk away from the restaurant. Each room is ensuite and has a small well-equipped kitchen, super-king bed and log-burners.

All the rooms have stunning views with private outdoor patio areas with seating. The rooms are available to rent year round. We do not have a minimum night stay. The rates vary depending on the time of year and length of stay. Uig Sands is not open all year around and not everyday so if you’re very keen to visit the restaurant please check opening days and times before booking the rooms.

Information
Dogs : We have designated dog-friendly rooms which you must contact us directly to book. We welcome clean and well-behaved dogs. We charge £15 per night for up to 2 dogs. We do not allow more than 2 dogs.
Dogs are not allowed on the bed or sofa or in the shower/bath! If your dog is responsible for any damage then you will be charged for repair/damage. Dogs are not allowed in Uig Sands Restaurant (except assistance dogs which are welcome throughout). If you are leaving your dog in your room unattended we request you use a crate or pen.
Children : Unfortunately our rooms are not designed for young children. It is best to contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
Eating at the restaurant : All room guests automatically have a table reserved at Uig Sands Restaurant. We will contact you directly to arrange a suitable time or to release the table if you don’t require it. Uig Sands is not open all year around and not everyday so if you’re very keen to visit the restaurant please check opening days and times before booking the rooms. The restaurant is a short walk from the rooms.
How to find us?
We are located in Uig on the Isle of Lewis (not to be confused with Uig on the Isle of Skye). We are 50mins from Stornoway and 1hr15 from Tarbert. We are the first right hand turn after the Uig Community Shop and fuel pumps. If you are arriving by ferry it is very important to book your ferries ASAP and to have travel insurance to cover you in the event you don’t manage to honour your booking.
